~Upgrade Your Patient Stories
A workshop to amplify your real stories and add authenticity to your message.
You’re a patient-centric brand, but your patient voice seems to be missing. You don’t have enough patient stories. The ones you do have are falling flat. There’s something in the way. Let’s breakthrough, hone your storytelling, and deliver ‘wow’.
What are the outcomes?
A clear framework for structuring your patient stories including a concepting mood board, filming plan and schedule, and editing structure. We’ll also include best practices for interviews, a post-production management spreadsheet, and budget guidelines. Ideally, we will directly tie this plan to an actual patient story you plan to capture.
What does my team need to do to prepare?
In advance, please share examples of past patient stories, inspirational work, sample stories in action, how your patient stories are delivered, details about the disease state, brand guidelines and voice, and any identified characters/patients.
In addition, your team should deliver this prompt in advance: Imagine the perfect patient story. Write a 5-page children’s book. Introduce the character, their core challenge, how they overcame with it (or dealt with it), and the message they hope to pass to others. Each page should be no more than 50 words. Include a written description of the illustration we see on each page (bonus points for drawings).
What is the format of the workshop?
A 2.5 hour custom workshop (live or via Zoom) to understand your challenges, prompt your team, and gain clarity in your opportunities.
- Welcome (15 minutes): Introduce the everyone and the goal of the workshop.
- Homework Exercise (15 minutes): Each person shares the results of the prompt.
- Discover (30 minutes): Understand the current obstacles preventing “wow” stories: your process for curating stories and your creative storytelling style.
- Define (30 minutes): Mapping inspiration and storytelling frameworks to set a new benchmark.
- Develop (30 minutes): Outlining a “wow” patient story: the narrative outline, the visuals, the tone.
- Recap (15 minutes): Recapping highlights and setting a timeline for deliverables.
- Post-Workshop: The Animus team will then follow up with any questions and develop the deliverables over the next two weeks.
